Meanwhile I am sitting at the waiting area at one the world's busiest airport - London Heathrow awaiting for my next flight to Hong Kong. So I thought it will be nice to write an entry to kill my boredom... haha...
Time flies, and my first semester at Stirling ended up with many challenges and opportunties. I found the courses enjoyable to study, and learnt well under the friendly atmosphere of the tutorials. Things have happened recently, like Manchester conquered the world of football, the natural diasters occured both in China and Indonesia, the round-the-world relays of the Beijing Olympic torch, political conflicts of the USA and the Britain, the housing problems in the US, the people in Tibet striving for an independence from China, etc.
Just finished my last exam on 24th May, and I made every opportunity to enjoy as much as I can before returning to Hong Kong one week later. It did turned out to be a hectic week for me!
The packing yesterday was a very tiring experience - had to made couple of trips back and forth as I lived on the highest floor in the hall with a spectacular view of one the Stirling's famous attractions - The Wallance Monument! Almost used up all my energy and until now my arms and legs are still aching...
Left Stirling yesterday afternoon and spent one night in Glasgow. However, I lost the booking reference with Thomas Cook whereas I made a reservation earlier and ended up at the wrong hotel!! Had to meet up a facebook friend for dinner in due time I checked into the hotel immediately and walked up to the Boarder's on Buchanan Street after left my luggages. We had Italian at the Prince's Square and it was delicious. After dinner, I had to catch up with Gemma at the cinema. Unfortunately the film we wanted to watch at 9:10pm called 'In Bruge' was full so watched Iron Man instead. A good film, indeed!
Anyway, for the next time I think I have to be extremely careful with the hotel booking! I must stop here as I am running out of time!
Hong Kong, I'll see you in 15 hours!!
